After creating sensation sales for the Triumph with bajaj partnership for the Triumph speed 400, Now Triumph offered scale down version of Triumph Speed 400 and called it as Triumph Speed 400 T4. Lets find out what are the specs it has to offer.

Design
Design wise the Triumph Speed T4 has lot of design changes that can easily identified. Though the design language remains same but triumph bought the bike to much more budget oriented and we can that clearly. From the front the golden suspension Upside Down forks were replaced by telescopic suspension. The exhaust completely replaced with regular one with black treatment. The seat has raised to 4 MM making it now 806 mm. There are lot of graphics changes from the existing one, the tank graphics has changed by placing the 400 spec on the thigh pad. Branding on the side cowls. Typical Bajaj wheel stickering on wheels.

Engine:
Triumph Speed T4 has a scaled down engine from its elder brother speed 400 with Retuned 398cc TR-Series engine with Liquid-cooled, 4 valve, DOHC, single-cylinder with six speed Gear box along with torque assist clutch with compression ratio of 12:1 which produces 30.6 bhp @7000 rpm 36 Nm @5500 rpm of torque. As the power figure went down from 40 bhp to 30 and torque figures went down from 37 to 36. we expect that engine can produce a better mileage when it compared to speed 400. The Triumph Speed T4 comes with 13 liter fuel tank capacity.

Suspension
The Chassis is made of Lightweight frame with bolt-on rear subframe and cast aluminum swing-arm with 43mm diameter telescopic forks and pre-load adjustable rear mono-shock. The braking system comes with Front 300mm disc and powerful radial caliper, Rear 230mm disc equipped with Dual-Channel ABS. The Bike comes with Twin-sided, cast aluminium alloy with 110/70 17 inch tyre at the front 140/70 17 inch tyre at the rear. While the rear Gas monoshock RSU with external reservoir and pre-load adjustment. The 120mm wheel travel gets Gas monoshock RSU with external reservoir and pre-load adjustment at the rear and 43mm Telescopic Fork. 140mm wheel travel at the front.

Triumph Speed T4 comes with dual channel ABS system with 300mm disc at the front 230mm at the rear.
