Škoda Auto India has announced that its latest sub-4m SUV, the Skoda Kylaq, has secured a prestigious 5-star safety rating in the Bharat New Car Assessment Programme (Bharat NCAP) crash tests. This achievement positions the Kylaq as the safest vehicle in its segment, underscoring Škoda's unwavering commitment to passenger safety.

In the Bharat NCAP assessments, the Skoda Kylaq excelled in both Adult and Child Occupant Protection categories:

  • Adult Occupant Protection: The Skoda Kylaq scored 30.88 out of 32 points (97%), reflecting superior protection in frontal offset and side-moving deformable barrier tests.

  • Child Occupant Protection: Achieving 45 out of 49 points (92%), the Skoda Kylaq demonstrated maximum possible scores in both frontal offset and side barrier tests, along with top marks in the recommended child seat assessment.
